About this poster
Originally intended as the official poster for the Mock Show in Miami, this design pays homage to ZAP Comix with its classic underground comic aesthetic. However, it was later deemed inappropriate to represent the show and was subsequently rejected by the venue or promoters. Due to this rejection, only 30 screen prints were ever produced. This black ink variant represents an even rarer artist proof (AP) version of the already limited edition, making it an extremely collectible piece that showcases Welker's bold line work and captures both his artistic vision and an interesting footnote in concert poster history.
