Another year, another one of my favorite weekends - also known as the weekend @mtjoyband makes their annual trip to Colorado for their red rocks shows! This year it’s a two night stint at the rocks and then a send off at fiddler’s green - all making up one hell of a weekend.
2026 marks 10 years of MJ, 8 of which I will have (and am) been so lucky to be even just a tiny part in, so the 2026 edition of Mt. Joy in Colorado is gearing up to be that of celebration and warm fuzzy memories to be made still. I wanted to make something that encapsulated that in a way - really trying to capture the feeling and emotion that popped up in someone’s brain while at the show on that summer night in August next year, helped along by the lil squiggly arms that help bring all of the magic together while sitting on those steps and listening to the band rip away. Then moving on up to a night under the stars with the mountains in view, representing the night at fiddlers to cap off a fantastic weekend in Colorado filled with joy, comfort, stars, and memories for another 10 years to come.
