About this poster
This concept came from an old post stamp from the 50s - a myth or a legend, the concept is inspired by the legendary flight of Hezârfen Ahmed Çelebi - an inventor, astronomer, scientist, who, in 1632, jumped from Galata Tower with wings he built himself and flew across the Bosphorus. A tribute to those who leap into the unknown - with vision, heart and freedom of flight. I wanted the color palette to reflect the soul of mighty Istanbul, the warmth of the Egyptian market and its colorful spices, the glow of the city’s streets, the turquoise coast and sea.
