About this poster
I am pleased to finally be able to show this year's Texas Frightmare Weekend official screen printed poster. The composition is a homage to Alphonse Mucha's 1900 Paris exposition brochure cover. The concept is re-animator themed, almost a story of the origin of the serum, from ancient Greece. Hecate the Goddess of Witchcraft created it to dethrone Hades and take over Tartarus. I designed the serum coming out of the jar just like on the original Reanimator poster and notice the skull in the bowl and headless skeleton representing Dr. Hill. The designs down the side represent some of the guests attending. Everything here was hand drawn, and it was a fun one to do. - TP
