About this poster
As the artist behind over 170 backstage passes for the Grateful Dead from 1989-1995, I’m thrilled to share my latest creation: a limited edition concert poster for Dead & Company. My previous work for the Grateful Dead became iconic among Deadheads, with many of the passes forming collectible puzzles over the years. It was a true honor to have 62 of those passes featured during Dead & Co’s performances at the Sphere.
This poster, titled “The Greatest Show on Earth,” captures the spirit of those legendary passes, featuring a Dancing Bear atop the Sphere. Just like the original backstage passes, I’ve included all the key details that used to be on an actual pass, bringing a touch of nostalgia and authenticity to this design.
