About this poster
Its inspired by the different album specific personas Billy has created from Zero to Glass to Shiny etc. The clown is reminiscent of classic SP visuals. There are often Carnivale-ian aethstetics associated with SP over the years. The symbols of the SP heart, the Star and the Ø for example are painted on this vaudevillian clown’s face.
The removal of the face symbolizes the different “masks” Billy has worn but behind these lies a true form which is a sort of cosmic infinite being.
