About this poster
The original 1969 Led Zeppelin – Santa Barbara poster by Frank Bettencourt was printed prior to the concert at the Earl Warren Arena (originally planned for the Earl Warren Showgrounds). This first printing was limited, disappeared quickly, and features the “Pacific Printing” credit in the footer, deep purple tones in the turret/window shapes, and blue printing at the bottom. It also includes slight registration marks and minor plate scratches characteristic of the initial offset printing. The colors and overall design remained consistent, and this printing represents the poster as the artist intended for the original concert.
