This poster was created for Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds for a show at the 5th Avenue Theater in Seattle. This gig got pretty rowdy. Nick told an audience member to defy a security guard who tried to stop him from leaving his seat and approaching the stage. Nick welcomed the guy to come up and dance in front of the stage. Once he did, people rushed the stage to do the same. Security couldn’t stop them. Chairs were ripped out of the floor and ruined. Afterward, the 5th Ave Theater announced they’d never host another rock concert, and they haven’t since 1998.
